The Need for Business Conversational AIs

In today’s global business landscape, executives are constantly on the go. However, traveling while maintaining a high standard of communication and responsiveness has become increasingly difficult. The current market is flooded with independent devices like Echo, Google Home, Apple’s Home Pod etc. as they provide a hands-free experience as well as an easy way to access analytics. Though these assistants are enough for making calls, simple searches, sending short texts, remote operation of home appliances and more, they are extremely limited in their ability to keep you updated on critical aspects of day to day business due to the very foundational understanding that comes with the basic conversational AI. These conversational AIs are built for routine day-to-day tasks, so they fail when it comes to the necessary levels of intuition needed to assist with more complex business endeavors. 

This brings us to the emerging need for Business Conversational AIs; A need for mobile voice frameworks that are capable of handling business conversations efficiently. These AIs need to be both intuitive in their understanding and flexible in their accessibility in terms of providing relevant, real-time results regardless of where in the world you are.

Currently, most voice APIs and frameworks have a limited capability when it comes to voice comprehension and is often not equipped to access necessary analytics. Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri, and Cortana are limited to basic features and has to improve in understanding the user query based on their accent, word combinations, context, and region. That said these frameworks have to be further worked in order to create the seamless conversational experience. Addressing this challenge will transform user’s personal smartphones and tablets into highly intuitive voice-enabled business devices capable of both anticipating and addressing business needs efficiently while providing an overall seamless experience to enter the reimagined business conversational AI experience.

Any company that is planning to give a solution hence will have to start working on the basic frameworks in order to achieve the basic conversational experience. However, in future, we are also looking at the next versions of these systems to come which would be more comprehensive for the conversational experience. So, the solution to this key challenge would be to build a framework to be both intelligent and efficient in providing real-time results to users without the use of touch, gestures, or typing to provide a highly sophisticated voice-enabled AI for smartphones and tablets that accounts for factors like user accent and contextual relationships in order to minimize the need for extensive user clarification as much as possible and provide a highly human conversational experience. And this would eliminate the need for all other individual devices as this is personal and always within reach of the users and can perform work of those individual devices. 

AI-enabled Mobile Devices are just the beginning

Voice-enabled conversational AIs are simply the beginning as we know that the days of virtual hologram assistants aren’t too far away. In the near future business, people will be seeing holographic charts projected out of their smartphones to gain their business analytics.
