Inventory plays a vital role in migration. We assess Slack Channels, Multiparty Chats and Direct Messages that are to be migrated into MS Teams. You’ll get channel details, user details, messages count (human, bot, files) etc. Based on the data we provide you can sort and plan for migrations.

User mapping is the first step after the inventory assessment process. Slack users are mapped to the corresponding accounts in MS Teams to ensure content is migrated and retained under the respective mapped users in MS Teams.
What all is included in content mapping? Will it also have private channels for migration?
Content Mapping is done after user mapping. We map all Channels (public & private), Multiparty Chats and Direct Messages from Slack into new or corresponding MS Teams Channels, Group Chat and Direct Chat respectively. Once the mapping is completed, migration can be initiated to migrate all messages, threads, files, links, attachments.
