Tips to migrate from QlikView 11 to Qlik Sense
- Through QlikView converter available in Qlik Sense 3.2 you can directly import the objects from QlikView 11 application into Qlik Sense. When you open a project converted objects from the QlikView documents like visualizations, dimensions, measures, and variables are displayed.
- Most importantly, you need to keep in mind the differences in functionality and user interfaces between QlikView and Qlik Sense.
- Identify existing features in your QlikView applications that are not available in Qlik Sense, like triggers/actions, input fields, macros, conditional shows etc.
- Create a proof of concept of all the functionalities that can be shown in Qlik Sense using workarounds/extensions.
