Migration of data from JAVA to Microsoft SharePoint 2011

  • The need was to reframe the old websites using new technologies, besides improving the usability.
  • 52 of their existing old Java websites were marked for migration to SharePoint environment.

  • We suggested a framework of 12 Templates that can be reused for all 52 sites.
  • Our approach was acknowledged and we were assigned with the contract for developing 52 sites. Our framework based methodology for this engagement improved delivery excellence other than cost & time reduction.
  • 2 Multilingual sites were created for Canada and China based websites. By applying moderate effort and by using simple patches over existing templates, we were able to meet delivery dates earlier than agreed.
